Located in the Sierras Grandes Cordobesas, it is the highest peak in this mountain range and in the entire province of Córdoba, with a height of 2,884 meters. Cerro Champaquí is located within the Pampa de Achala Natural Water Reserve and offers a great variety of native flora and fauna to admire throughout the tour.  
The Champaquí trekking can be done in various extensions and it is mandatory to do it with a guide. There are one-day tours, others two days and one night, and the longest of a total of three days, spending two nights in a mountain refuge, covering a total of 42 kilometers between ascent and descent.
