Details of Day Tours

Our experience begins very early in the morning, around 5:30 AM, when we depart from Coyhaique to head to a Patagonian ranch as the first rays of sunlight begin to appear. We will travel along the ranch`s internal paths to arrive at "Las Condoreras" as soon as dawn breaks. There we will get out of our vehicles to walk quietly a short distance, to see from the heights of the cliff our protagonist, "The Condor" in its natural habitat. With the Valley of the Moon as the backdrop for this beautiful sunrise, we will be able to contemplate and photograph the condors as they awaken from incredibly close distances. As we watch them soar through the sky around us, we`ll learn to distinguish them by sex and age, discover more about how they survive in the area, and learn relevant facts about their life and reproduction, thanks to the expert guides who will accompany us throughout the experience. After this wonderful experience, we`ll return to Coyhaique, passing by two Tehuelche archaeological sites. At "El Picadero," we`ll learn how they made their farming and hunting tools, and then we`ll visit a Chenque Cemetery, where we`ll learn more about ancient funerary rituals, among other interesting topics about the Tehuelche culture. We`ll return to Coyhaique around midday to relax. and enjoy the rest of the day. Send us your questions
