Embark on an adventure through the stunning Exploradores Valley and discover the Exploradores Glacier from different perspectives through an experience that combines Patagonian landscapes, hiking and natural viewpoints.
The day begins with a journey from Puerto Tranquilo to the Exploradores Valley, passing through lush vegetation, mountains, and natural landscapes characteristic of Chilean Patagonia. Along the way, there will be stops at various scenic viewpoints , ideal for admiring the surroundings and taking photographs.
Once in the glacier area, you'll take two hikes that will allow you to appreciate its magnitude from different angles . The first hike takes place in Exploradores Park and is an easy trail that takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes . Along the way, you'll walk through the natural surroundings until you reach a viewpoint with a breathtaking frontal view of the Exploradores Glacier , where you can observe its expanse and the surrounding landscape.
Afterwards, you will continue to the Río Deshielo trail , where a moderately difficult hike awaits, lasting approximately 3 to 4 hours . This route features a gradual ascent through the natural terrain until you reach a viewpoint offering a privileged side view of the glacier . During the hike, you can enjoy panoramic views, appreciate the contrasts of the landscape, and discover the beauty of this glacial environment.
Throughout the experience, you'll be accompanied by expert guides who will lead you on hikes and provide guidance to ensure your safety along the trails. There will also be time to rest, enjoy a snack, and peacefully admire the scenery .
This trek is an excellent option for those who want to explore one of the most fascinating corners of Chilean Patagonia, combining physical activity, contact with nature, and unforgettable views of the Exploradores Glacier . A good level of physical fitness is recommended, as well as the use of appropriate trekking footwear and layered clothing , prepared for the changing mountain conditions.
