Details of Day Tours

Our tour starts with Calafate hotels transfers pick-up to the go to the start point on Route 40 km 663. Once we get there, our professional guide will give us a brief safety talk, before starting the tour. They will learn the necessary rowing techniques, as well as the correct use of the equipment. When we get ready, we will get into the kayaks to start sailing down the river. We will travel approximately 14 km in our kayaks, to La Irene Ranch (Arroyo Turbio), where the excursion ends.

During the river descent, we can appreciate the incredible landscapes and the contrast of the ochre colors of the steppe with the turquoise water of glacial origin that fascinated and captivated explorers like Darwin, Moreno and Moyano. Groups of up to 8 people guarantee a personalized service.

Once we arrive at the ranch, you will enjoy a snack with hot beverages to recharge our energy. Return to El Calafate in the afternoon.
