This excursion begins at 7 am, approximately, in the Port of Buenos Aires from where it will depart, around an hour and a half later, the Ferry to Colonia del Sacramento. It departs from the port at approximately 8:30 a.m. and, during the trip, you will get beautiful views of the city of Buenos Aires as the ferry moves away from the coast and you will be able to make use of all the ferry facilities.
After about an hour of travel, we will be arriving at Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay and from here we will head to the Historic Quarter of the city to take a walk guided by a local guide. This will be on foot through its picturesque cobblestone streets where the guide will tell us about the history behind this city and we will visit attractions such as the Portón de Campo, the Street of Sighs, the Lighthouse, among others.
Once the guided tour through the Historic District of the city is finished , we will go to the El Refugio restaurant where we will have lunch. Drinks are not included, but delicious food is included.
After lunch, you will have free time to explore the area. city and observe the beautiful colorful houses, their facades and the typical lanterns. Lose yourself in the cobblestone streets of the city and marvel at each of its corners.
The return ferry leaves from the port of Cologne to the port from Buenos Aires at 6 pm, so you must arrive at the port of Colonia an hour and a half in advance.
Once boarded , we will return to the city of Buenos Aires, arriving approximately an hour later, and here we will end the full-day excursion to Colonia del Sacramento.
