Football is a passion and part of the identity of Argentinians, and our guided tour of the River Plate and Boca Juniors stadiums is the best way to learn about the history of these giants of world football.
Our tour begins at La Bombonera, where we'll enjoy the Boca Juniors Passion Museum and explore the streets of La Boca to learn more about its history , before traveling to the Monumental Stadium. Our tour includes visits to all the club's facilities, along with its modern museum and football pitch .
At the Monumental stadium, the tour also includes taking photos on the field . Our tour allows time for shopping at the official stores of both clubs.Our guided tour begins at our office in San Telmo. From there, we'll start our walk through the surrounding streets, where we'll find three murals of great players who took the Argentine jersey to the top. It's an introduction to the passion of Argentine football.
A car will be waiting to take us to the iconic neighborhood of La Boca . When we arrive, we'll be standing in front of one of the most important stadiums in the country: La Bombonera . We will visit the Boca Juniors Passion Museum , where you can learn about the history of the club , its players , and the evolution of the jersey . You can also watch a film that recreates, from a first-person perspective, what it feels like to play for the club and take the field with the team.
You will have access to a Free time to visit the museum shop, shop at the official stores, and have lunch. After the museum visit, a car will be waiting to take us to the Núñez neighborhood , home to their classic rival: River Plate .
On the way from La Boca to Núñez, we'll see various murals, graffiti, and sites of interest related to Argentine football, whether it be the Argentine National Team or Boca or River. These are places that historically housed a stadium, hosted a football match, and are now parks.
Once we arrive, we'll tour the stadium from the outside to see part of the "River Plate neighborhood," the world's largest bronze football statue, and the entrance gates, before entering the River Plate Museum .
There, we'll begin our visit through the "time travel module," which will show us some of the glory that River has achieved over the years since its founding in 1901. We'll learn about the club's history , its great players , and its most important titles . Then we will enter this great stadium where you will be able to visit the presidential box , the preferred stands , the volleyball and basketball courts , the educational institute and finally the playing field where you can take photos.
After 5 hours of intense football, we return to the meeting point.

We did the Football Tour with Tangol, and saw both the La Bombonera as well as the Monumental Stadium. We arranged the booking with Julieta, who was very helpful in getting the booking done last minute. The tour itself was fascinating and the guide was very knowledgeable. He himself is a River Plate supporter, and knew lots of little anecdotes on El Clasico (the River vs. Boca Derby). Overall I highly suggest this tour as it is also a very safe way to experience the neighbourhood of La Boca.
We weren't luck enough to be in BA when Boca were playing at home but went for the next best option - the guided tour of their stadium. We had a grear guide (Eugenie). She gave us loads of information on the ride there about the different areas we passed through and the history of the club. She took us through the museum and gave us so much information that we would never have found out if we had been wandering through on our own. She then accompanied us on the tour of the stadium itself which was really useful as it was largely in Spanish and meant the stadium tour guide didn't need to repeat everything for us. I would definitely recommend this tour if you are a football fan.
