Through this interesting experience we will visit the Island Lemuy, one of the largest in the archipelago of Chiloé.
Crossing the By ferry we will arrive at this picturesque island, which has a total of 16 churches, of which 8 are National Monuments and of these we will visit 3 that were declared Heritage of the Humanity by UNESCO, Ichuac, Detif and Aldachildo.
This picturesque island is known for its views panoramic views and the close contact of the inhabitants with the artisans, also from one of its viewpoints we can see the Quehui and Chelín islands in the distance, and in the background already in the continent we can see the Volcano Michimahuida.
On the way back we will pass through the beautiful town of Chonchi where we will visit the Church of San Carlos de Borromeo, of style neoclassical and the Church of Our Lady de Gracia which is built with larch and cypress, before arriving back at our hotel in Castro.

We will start our adventure today leaving our hotels in Castro at approximately 09.00 am, to go to the ferry in the town of Puerto Huicha to cross to Lemuy Island, we will disembark at Puerto Chulcuy.

We will start the route from Puerto Chulcuy to the Church of Ichuac, after passing through native forests, we will arrive at the small Patrimonial Church of the Island in Aldachildo, after a while to enter and To visit it we will go to a viewpoint where we can see the Quehui and Chelín islands in the distance, and in the background the continent we can see the Volcano Michimahuida.
We will continue the path that advances through a narrow mountain range where we will see the sea on both sides, which will finally take us to the Village of Detif where we will also visit its beautiful Church.
After our experience on this beautiful island of the archipelago, we will return to the Isla Grande de Chiloé, arriving at the town of Chonchi, known as the “ Three-Story City” for its different unevenness where its Heritage Church stands out of Humanity, here we will visit the Church of San Carlos de Borroneo. This was completed in 1859 and its style is neoclassic. We will also visit the Museum of Chonchina traditions, the waterfront and craft market and then continue back to Castro.
Without a doubt one experience full of history and culture of this magical place.

Franchement, ce tour de l'île Lemuy et Chonchi était superbe! Les paysages étaient incroyables et notre guide était très sympathique et instructif. On a eu droit à des vues imprenables et à une belle immersion dans la culture locale.
