This experience stems from generations deeply connected to nature. The Bronzovich family , established on the island since the beginning of the 20th century, now shares their history and passion for Criollo horses in an ancestral setting filled with calm and authenticity.
The excursion begins with a transfer from your accommodation in Ushuaia to the lake region, traveling along the legendary National Route 3. We will cross peat valleys and the Andes Mountains via the famous Garibaldi Pass , the most breathtaking panoramic viewpoint in the province.
The starting point is the refuge located in the Laguna Escondida Rural Establishment , founded in 1956. There, the guides will select the ideal horse for each participant according to their experience, using comfortable saddles adapted to fully enjoy the tour.
The 1-hour horseback ride takes place among lenga trees and native trees, following the old route until reaching the shores of Lago Escondido , where you will contemplate one of the most beautiful views in Patagonia.
