"The Most Admired Wine Brand in the World" is the Concha y Toro vineyard, one hour from Santiago in the town of Pirque, this vineyard is located. The tour begins at the Casa Patronal which dates back more than a century. At the end of the 19th century in 1883 when winemaking was just beginning in Chile, it was founded by the Chilean politician and businessman Don Melchor Concha y Toro who commissioned noble French strains from the Bordeaux Region and planted the vines in Pirque, Maipo Valley. In addition, he hired the distinguished French winemaker Monsieur Labouchere to make his wines. With this visionary gesture, Viña Concha y Toro was founded more than 130 years ago. It became the main exporter of wines in Latin America and one of the most important brands worldwide, with a presence in more than 135 countries.
Then we will visit the vineyards on site and you will be able to taste some of the grapes. We will also go to the wineries to learn about their history and the mythical legend of the Casillero del Diablo. We will finish at the wine shop for a tasting of their famous wines.

Just one hour from Santiago, in the Pirque area, we can enjoy a tour of the beautiful vineyard landscapes that surround the winery, where you will learn in detail about the entire wine production process, from planting and caring for the grapes to producing and aging in barrels. Throughout the tour, you will learn about the different grape varieties grown at the vineyard and how they are selected to create wines with different styles and characteristics.
One of the highlights of the tour is the visit to the underground cellars of the historic Viña Concha y Toro mansion, known as "La Casona". Here, you will be able to learn the legendary story of the "Casillero del Diablo", a famous wine brand that emerged as a strategy to protect the crops from thieves and that has endured as a symbol of the vineyard.
Then we will visit the vineyards, the fields and we will be able to taste some of the grapes of the most iconic strains of Chile.
As a finishing touch, we will finish with a tasting of some of the emblematic wines of Viña Concha y Toro, where you will be able to appreciate the unique aromas and flavors of each variety. Additionally, in the wine shop we will have the opportunity to take some wines and products related to the vineyard with us, to take a little piece of this experience with you.
