In the department of La Rocha, crossing through La Paloma and La Pedrera, a special day awaits us in Cabo Polonio with its striking little houses, to discover both its nature reserve and its main attractions. We'll pick you up from your hotel located in Punta del Este and from there we'll go to Cabo to enjoy its sand, dunes, and beaches, venturing into Cabo in a 4x4 jeep.
During the excursion you cantake photos of the panoramic views, access to the Cabo Polonio Lighthouse (optional), and a snack is included. This tour is not just a city tour; you'll also have free time to swim at the beach and witness the vastness of a landscape that even allows you to admire the sea lions. About this tour
We will pick you up at your hotel located in the center of Punta del Este. During the tour, you will be accompanied by a Driver-Guide who will tell you about the attractions that Cabo has to offer, from its rich history about Polonio to cultural aspects.
We will take Route 10 towards Manantiales, Route 103, and from there, Route 9. We will arrive in the department of La Rocha without entering the city, but we will go towards La Paloma, to take the intersection of Route 10 and from there, go to La Pedrera which will be our first stop for photos and a delicious snack (included). This is a spot chosen by its visitors for its beautiful beaches and sands, such as the Playa la Aguada and the Costa Azul.
We will resume our journey, traveling along Route 10 until we reach the Cabo Polonio terminal. From there, we will take a 4x4 vehicle to venture into the Cape. There, we can begin to admire the landscape. We will get out of the 4x4 vehicle and start walking, appreciating the attractions of this beautiful place from the highest point and enjoying the panoramic view.
We will be able to enjoy the wonderful scenery of beaches with very calm waters and others with larger waves. We will see the Sea Lions and the beautiful islands with dunes. There will be access to climb the Lighthouse (optional). You will have free time for lunch (not included),swimming at the beach,andmeeting up again.
Finally, we will board the4x4 jeep to be taken to the center of Cabo Polonio and from there we will return with our initial transfer to the hotels in Punta del Este.
