I discovered Bañado La Estrella, a natural paradise in northern Argentina
This experience begins in the city of Formosa, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The following day you will travel to Las Lomitas , the gateway to Bañado La Estrella , one of the largest and most stunning wetlands in South America.
During the tour, you will visit a Pilagá community to learn about their culture, customs, and ancestral knowledge related to the Chaco forest. Accompanied by its inhabitants, you will discover medicinal plants, native fruits, and artisanal techniques passed down through generations.
The day will end by watching an incredible sunset over the Bañado, one of the most photographed moments of this natural wonder.
Sailing, wildlife and unforgettable landscapes
At dawn, you'll experience the most anticipated part of the trip. After enjoying a traditional breakfast at a local resident's home, you'll navigate in outrigger boats through palm groves, water hyacinths, and natural channels as the wetlands awaken to the songs of hundreds of birds.
During the navigation you will have the opportunity to observe the characteristic biodiversity of the Gran Chaco and capture unique images of one of the most important ecosystems in Argentina.
After the excursion, you will begin your return to Formosa, taking with you an authentic experience that combines nature, responsible tourism and local culture.
