In 1599 the Society of Jesus settled in the city of Córdoba, in the space that is known today as the Jesuit Block. There they erected the main Company Church, the College Máximo and the Convictorio, from which the spiritual and, above all, educational work would begin to develop, giving rise to National University of Córdoba and al Monserrat National School.
With this tour you will be able to see the most important points of Córdoba Capital along with the Jesuit Block and learn about the history and legacy they left in the city!

About this tour
With this tour we will visit the most important points of the city: the Fundamental Historical Center, which is made up of the Plaza San Martín, the Cabildo and the Cathedral; the civic center where the Municipality, the Palace of Justice, the Plaza Italia, the La Cañada stream and the Plaza de la Intendencia stand out among others.
We will pass by the Libertator General San Martín theater and enter the student neighborhood of Nueva Córdoba where we will visit the Church of the Capuchins. We will continue through the Sarmiento Park, the Government House and the University City.
We will continue our journey observing the monument to the "Urban Man" and we will border the Costanera del Río Suquía, arriving at the popular Alberdi neighborhood. From there, Av. Cólón takes us to the Córdoba Olympic Stadium, the fair complex, the Free University of the Environment, and the City Botanical Garden.
We will cross the river and enter the elegant neighborhood of Cerro de Las Rosas, where we will discover the monument to the "Urban Woman", the Av. Rafael Nuñez and the viewpoint of the Autochthonous Park. Then we will tour the Jesuit Block of Córdoba, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will visit the Church of the Company of Jesus, the chapel of the Virgin of Lourdes, the old Rectorate of the University (current Historical Museum of the National University of Córdoba) and the traditionalCollege of Monserrat.
