We begin our adventure with the Catamarca icon, La Cuesta del Portezuelo, located at an altitude of 1,680 meters above sea level. 

This road is winding, extending for just under 20 km, and is famous for its more than 300 curves. Its fame comes not only from the poem made into a song, but also from the impressive views it offers along its route, which inspired the verses of “Paisajes de Catamarca”.
