About this tour
The experience begins in Puerto Madero , where you`ll meet your guide at the Sturla River Terminal to begin a journey along the Río de la Plata towards the Paraná Delta . During the trip, you`ll enjoy different perspectives of Buenos Aires from the water and appreciate how the urban landscape gives way to the natural environment of the Delta.
Upon arrival in Tigre , you`ll enjoy a boxed lunch on the riverbank before beginning your city tour. The excursion continues with a visit to the traditional Puerto de Frutos (Fruit Port ), a former port for unloading goods from the Delta and now one of Tigre`s most popular attractions, where you`ll have time to browse the stalls, admire the handicrafts, and purchase souvenirs.
Next, you`ll take a walk along Paseo Victorica , one of Tigre`s most picturesque areas, with views of the river, nature, rowing clubs, restaurants, and historic buildings. Accompanied by your guide, you`ll learn more about the history and significance of the city`s main attractions.
From the Delta station of the Tren de la Costa , you will board the train for a journey towards San Isidro , enjoying the scenery of the Río de la Plata coast and the residential areas of northern Buenos Aires.
Once in San Isidro, you`ll take a walking tour of the historic center , passing by Plaza Mitre and the San Isidro Cathedral , as well as other city highlights. You`ll also have some free time to enjoy a coffee, snack, or ice cream before taking the train back to Buenos Aires, arriving at Retiro station .

A very pleasant tour
Tigre is a very nice town located on Delta of the Paranà river, in Buenos Aires neighboorhood: it’s the perfect place to visit during the weekend. The tour consisted in a boat tour from Puerto Madero to Tigre. Along the Rio de la Plata we had one of the best views of Buenos Aires. In Tigre we walked around Puerto de Frutos, the old fruit market, and visit the Naval Museum. We returned to Buenos Aires by train. Special thanks to our guide, Carlos: he was very kind and exhaustive.

We arranged a couple of great value tours with this local travel agent / tour operator. Easy to book and great choice of things to do, last minute arrangements were handled easily by the great staff. We went to polo match and a Tigre Delta tour with this company which were both fantastic. Given more time we would have done them all!
Excelent Tour to Tigre!
Very beautiful tour to Tigre (North of Buenos Aires)! It was amazing to navigate the Rio La Plata and the Delta as well. We really liked the Fruit Port and the food was great. It was also very good to get to know the Retiro Train Station, when we took the train back to the city. Me and my wife really enjoyed the whole experience!

Todo muy lindo! Navegar en barca por el Río de La Plata es una experiencia indescriptible. El puerto de frutos de Tigre nos pareció encantador y la comida excelente. También fue muy bueno conocer la estación de trenes de Retiro, cuando regresamos en tren a la ciudad. Toda la experiencia nos agradó muchó a mi esposa y a mí. La atención y conocimientos de nuestro guía fue sensacional.
