Departure Point: The Historic Heart of San Telmo
Your experience begins at 9:00 AM at the historic Pasaje Giuffra 308, San Telmo. From here, we'll immerse ourselves in the roots of Buenos Aires. Our bike tour will first take us to the imposing San Pedro Telmo Church, an architectural icon that evokes centuries of history. Then, we'll pedal through the leafy Lezama Park, a green lung with fascinating anecdotes about the city's first founding.
Pedaling Towards Passion and Color
The adventure continues to the neighborhood of La Boca, the birthplace of tango and home to football passion. We'll pass by the emblematic Boca Juniors Stadium, feeling the energy emanating from its "Bombonera". Immediately after, we'll immerse ourselves in the colorful explosion of Caminito, an open-air museum where each facade tells a story of immigration and folk art. You'll have time to capture the essence of this iconic place with your camera.
Sailing the Río de la Plata: Tradition and Modernity in Harmony
From Caminito, we'll head to the La Boca dock to embark on a unique experience: a 40-minute sailing along the Río de la Plata. While you relax on the boat, an audio guide in Spanish, English, and Portuguese will provide fascinating information about the history and points of interest that pass before your eyes. We'll see the mouth of the Riachuelo and enter the waters of the river that connects Buenos Aires to the rest of the world. The view from the water is simply spectacular, revealing how the city blends its rich tradition with the imposing modernity of its skyscrapers.
Puerto Madero: The Future of Buenos Aires
We will disembark in the futuristic neighborhood of Puerto Madero, a vibrant district that represents the rebirth of the city. Here, imposing skyscrapers rise majestically, creating a fascinating contrast with the historic neighborhoods we have just explored. We will walk along its modern seawalls and admire the iconic Puente de la Mujer, an architectural work of art designed by Santiago Calatrava. Our journey will also take us to the majestic CCK (Liberty Palace), a first-class cultural center that combines the grandeur of its historic architecture with contemporary artistic proposals.
Return to the Starting Point: An Unforgettable Circle
After 3 and a half hours of exploration, covering a distance of 7 km by bike and enjoying the navigation, we will return to our starting point at Pasaje Giuffra 308, San Telmo, thus closing a circle of unforgettable experiences.
