Our tour MOUNTAINS AND GLACIERS OF MOUNT TRONADOR goes through the stunning National Route No. 40, allowing us to see incredible landscapes along the way. We will take a hike though Coihues forest up to the base of Cerro Tronador, where our reward, the amazing Black Glacier, await us.
The tour also includes a typical lunch, served in a natural surroundings along the charming Lake Mascardi, without doubt, a once in a lifetime experience!

About this tour
Our tour starts by picking up the passengers from our selected hotels to go to the south region of the Nahuel Huapi National Park. We`ll get through the National Route No. 40 so we can see incredible landscapes along the way, and also, the Gutierrez and Mascardi Lakes.
Once into the National Park we will go through a lush Coihues forest, typical of the region, while surrounding the Mascardi Lake. Halfway, we stop for a sightseeing hike through the beautiful woods.
After the short walk, it`s time to recharge our energies with a delicious lunch. What makes this experience very special, besides the delicious dishes that we can taste, is that lunch is served into the woods, on the shores of Lake Mascardi.
Then, we continue through the valley of the Manso River, up to the base of Mount Tronador, where we find the final reward of our trip: the Black Ventisquero. Also called Black Glacier, it was named after the presence of sediments that gave it a distinctive dark color, different from other glaciers.
Finally, the tour ends with the return to our selected hotels
