Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel centrally located in Montevideo and we will begin a journey of 177 kilometers.
Along the way, we will observe agricultural, livestock and industrial productions. After stopping to visit the unique city of Nueva Helvecia also called Colonia Suiza, we will pass through the elegant Nirvana Hotel with a beautiful Colonial facade surrounded by a beautiful park and gardens, and we will continue towards the Los Fundadores Square and the beautiful Virgin of Schoenstatt's Sanctuary.
Later, we will arrive at Colonia del Sacramento City, while entering Colonia we will find the well-known los Suspiros street which holds many legends about its origin and from where we can see the coast of el Río de la Plata and its beautiful sunset.
Later on we will be able to approach the Historic Quarter in the Armas' Square, there, the Santísimo Sacramento's Church was built in 1680, and with it brings back many memories and history of Colonia.
Then, we will continue through the Bastion of Saint Peter where the Uruguayan Flag is erected accompanied by the Polvorín and el Faro, a tourist spot that we won't stop visiting, as well as the Spanish and Portuguese Museums, Museo del Azulejo (entrance tickets are not included)
We will also visit the Rambla Costanera, the Real de San Carlos with its old Plaza de Toros, the Church of San Benito and the residential neighborhoods of the city.
We will have an absolutely different and exclusive cultural journey to get to know and enjoy the magic of this environment with free time for lunch (not included) and continue to meet its surroundings.
After an unforgettable day, we will return to the hotels in Montevideo .
