The walk starts at 07 AM, leaving from our selected hotels in Santiago, to travel towards the Aconcagua Valley, a mountainous basin, located about 90 km from the city.
We will travel north to reach the rural town called Olmué, and from there, we will get to La Campana National Park. We estimate arriving at the park around 09 AM, and from there, start our trek.
After receiving the necessary safety recommendations, we will begin our journey to the summit of Cerro la Campana, which will reach after 5 hours of trekking. The hill has a height of 1910 meters above sea level, so it requires a certain level of fitness to complete the tour.
Once on top, we can appreciate the wonderful view of the Andes, in addition to observing the Cerro Aconcagua (the highest mountain in the Americas with 6965 meters - 22,850 feet) and the Pacific Ocean, if its a clear day.
After taking short break and eating our lunch box, we begin the descent, which will take us about 3 hours. Finally, we will return to our selected hotels in Santiago, with estimated time of arrival at 07 PM
