The tour starts at 7 AM, departing from our selected hotels in Santiago, to travel to the Aconcagua Valley, a mountainous basin, located about 90 km from the city.
We will take a northbound route until we reach the rural town of Olmué, and from there, we will arrive at La Campana National Park. We will arrive at the park at approximately 9 AM and from there, we will start the ascent. The park is one of the most representative natural areas of the native fauna and flora of that region of the country.
After receiving the necessary safety recommendations, we will begin our trek to the summit of Cerro La Campana, which we will reach after approximately 5 hours of walking. The hill has an altitude of 1910 meters above sea level, so it requires a certain level of physical fitness to complete the excursion.
Once at the top, we will be able to appreciate the wonderful view of the Andes Mountains, as well as observe Mount Aconcagua (the highest mountain in America with 6,965 meters - 22,850 feet) and the Pacific Ocean, if we enjoy a clear day.
After a well-deserved rest and eating our lunch box, we will start the descent, which will take about 3 hours.
Finally, we return to our selected hotels in Santiago, with an estimated arrival time of 7:00 pm
