Together today we will embark on an exciting experience of connecting with nature with this private Horseback Riding to the Morado Glacier adventure. Just 110 km from Santiago, we`ll travel through the captivating Cajón del Maipo, reaching the heart of El Morado National Monument Natural Park, exploring its majestic hills and the iconic Cerro El Morado, which, at 5,060 meters above sea level, gives the park its name.

 

Our day begins departing Santiago for Cajón del Arenas at approximately 7:00 a.m. The winding road will take us through captivating landscapes, preparing you for the adventure that awaits us in the Andes Mountains.

 

Around 10:00 a.m., we will arrive at the Cajón del Maipo, the starting point for this exciting horseback ride. We will meet our faithful companions and have a safety briefing to begin.

 

After approximately 3 hours of horseback riding, we will arrive at the Morado Glacier, where we will witness the amazing lagoon where the Hanging Glacier falls. With this unique natural setting, at approximately 1:30 p.m., we will enjoy a delicious and restorative box lunch.

 

After fully enjoying the Glaciar del Morado, at approximately 2:30 p.m. we will begin our return walk to the starting point. Each step allows us to absorb the tranquility of nature and assimilate the wonders we have witnessed.

 

Once at the starting point, one last unique gastronomic experience awaits us. At approximately 5:00 PM, we will enjoy a delicious platter with varieties of cheeses and hams, paired with Chilean wine. This tasting will be the icing on the cake for our day of exploration.

 

With the sun setting below the horizon, we will begin our return to Santiago around 6:00 PM. The return trip gives us the opportunity to reflect on the adventure and enjoy the last panoramic views before reaching the city.

 

We will arrive back in Santiago at approximately 8:30 p.m., taking with us not only visual memories of breathtaking landscapes, but also the satisfaction of having explored one of the most amazing natural treasures of the Chilean mountain range.
