We will leave the hotel in Pucón early in the morning at the agreed time to enjoy a day of adventure, which will immerse us in the natural wonder of one of the Most Active Volcanoes of the world, right in the heart of Araucanía.
We`ll start early at the base of this impressive Rukapillán Volcano , also known as Villarrica Volcano , the most active volcano in Chile and South America. Its altitude reaches 2,847 meters.
We will begin the ascent to the volcano at a gentle and safe pace; it is a 5-hour climb in total and a 2.30-hour descent… This outing can be for the whole family; the only requirement is being over 12 years old and in good physical condition.
As we make our way along the volcano`s trails, we will immerse ourselves in a world of volcanic rocks, snow, and ice.
As we approach the summit, the view becomes increasingly impressive; we will begin to see different lakes such as Villarrica, Calafquén, Huelipilum, Pellaifa, and Caburgua.
Upon reaching the summit, we will be rewarded with a 360-degree panoramic view encompassing mountains, lakes, and forests. We will also be able to see the volcanoes around us, such as the Lanín, Lonquimay, Quetrupillán, Choshuenco, and Llaima volcanoes.
