We will begin the tour at the meeting point to head towards the coastline, to the Sierra da Bocaina National Park,
where we will enter the Mata Atlântica, a humid forest
neo-tropical considered heritage of the region.
First, our jeep is
will stop at the Pedra Branca waterfalls, where we can take
photographs and come into contact with the local flora. Afterwards, we will continue our way towards Vila da Penha, to
take a walk through the forest that will allow us to observe
different types of typical plants such as bamboo, bromeliads and
chestnuts, among others; we can also visit other waterfalls of
pure and crystalline water, such as the Toboga and Tarzan waterfalls. As we walk through the dense forest, we can
appreciate panoramic views of the Sierra and the historic city of
Paraty.
After spending a morning
exploring the jungle, we will go to the next point of our journey,
to visit the Alambique D`Ouro and observe how it is manufactured
artisanal cachaça. They will tell you about all the procedures
used for its elaboration, to later carry out a tasting,
while we enjoy the impressive landscape.
We will end the tour at the same meeting point.
