The tour begins with the pick up of passengers at their hotels in the center of Bonito, to begin a trip of approximately 55 km to the district of Jardim, where the Buraco das Araras is located.
Once at the destination, and accompanied by a professional guide who will share all his knowledge with us, we will head to the huge crater, which has a depth of 120m and a diameter of 500m of pure natural beauty.
During the tour, we will be able to admire a great variety of birds, around 120 species, especially the scarlet macaws, very characteristic of Brazil.
Within the valley, given its isolation and the different outside conditions, a new ecosystem was created, with a unique fauna and flora.
Also noteworthy is the presence of a large lake inhabited by caimans; it is still a mystery for the most experienced to understand how they survive in this environment.
The hike, which lasts 90 minutes, is a pleasant 900m walk that will take us along the path of vegetation to the different panoramic viewpoints that allow us to see the crater in all its immensity.
The tour ends with the return of passengers to their hotels in Bonito.
