Details of Day Tours

The tour begins with a transfer from the hotel by minibus to Tierra del Fuego National Park, entering through the Ensenada Zaratiegui area, from where you can enjoy excellent views of the Beagle Channel and its islands. This first stop already allows you to appreciate the combination of seascape and Patagonian forest that characterizes the region.

From there, a walk begins along the Coastal Trail, a route of approximately seven kilometers that skirts the channel and crosses sections of Fuegian forest. During the trek, you can observe native flora, birds of the area, and remains of ancient settlements of the Yámana people, the original inhabitants of these lands. The hike lasts approximately three hours and is done at a comfortable pace. At the end of the trek, you will reach Lake Roca, where you can enjoy a hot lunch in a stunning natural setting. After the break, the second part of the experience begins: a ride in inflatable canoes on the Lapataia River, navigating calm waters that lead to Lapataia Bay, a symbolic point where National Route 3 ends. Throughout the activity, the professional guide shares information about the history, geography, fauna, and flora of the park. After the tour, return to Ushuaia by minibus.

Tour with all you need!

Reviews

We were picked up on time from our hotel and our guide was entertaining and informative. The tour was bilingual, and the guide ensured that she explained everything in English and Spanish. We were lucky to have a good group and great weather. The first half of the day was easy trekking with beautiful views along the way. We took a few breaks along the way for photos and snacks. After trekking, we had a lunch break with a delicious hot meal cooked by our wonderful driver. Then, off to canoeing. The views from the water were great as well, and overall the day was a lot of fun.
