The Glaciarium is located just 7 km from El Calafate, on the route to the Perito Moreno Glacier. That is why they offer free transfers from a specific meeting point, with departures every hour or half an hour, with returns also every half hour. The first service is from El Calafate to Glaciarium at opening hours, and the last service from Glaciarium to El Calafate is at closing hours.
The experience does not have a defined schedule other than the opening and closing of the Glaciarium, that is why although it has an estimated duration of 3 hours between the visit to the museum and 20 minutes the Glacio Bar ice bar, everyone can enjoy their experience of according to your preferences.

The Glacio Bar has a unique location, in the heart of Argentine Patagonia. Its dimensions are 80 m², and its ambient temperature is -10 °C. Everything in the bar, from the walls to the furniture (including the glasses, the bar and the chairs), is made with ice from the glacier.
Upon entering, visitors are provided with thermal layers and gloves. The temperature inside the enclosure ranges between -6 and -10 °C. The 20-minute experience is completed with animation, lights and music, creating a cheerful atmosphere while you enjoy a shot and drink (white drinks, appetizers, liqueurs and non-alcoholic drinks) included.
