Details of Day Tours

This excursion begins at approximately 7:00 AM at the Port of Buenos Aires , from where the ferry to Colonia del Sacramento will depart about an hour and a half later. The ferry leaves the port at approximately 8:30 AM , and during the trip, you`ll enjoy beautiful views of Buenos Aires as the ferry moves away from the coast . You`ll also have the opportunity to use all the ferry`s facilities .

After about an hour`s journey, we`ll arrive in Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, and from there we`ll head to the city`s Historic Quarter for a guided tour led by a local guide . This walking tour will take us through its picturesque cobblestone streets, where the guide will tell us about the history of the city and we`ll visit attractions such as the Portón de Campo (Country Gate) , the Calle de los Suspiros (Street of Sighs), the Lighthouse , and others.

After the guided tour of the city`s historic district, you`ll have free time to explore the city and admire the beautiful colorful houses, their facades, and the typical lanterns. Lose yourself in the city`s cobblestone streets and marvel at every corner.

The return ferry departs from the port of Colonia to the port of Buenos Aires at 6 pm , so you should arrive at the port of Colonia an hour and a half in advance.
