San Carlos de Bariloche is situated in the foot of the mountains of the Andes Mountain Range, at 790 masl, with a population of 80.000 inhabitants. It is located at the southeast side of Nahuel Huapi Lake, 1615 km. far from Capital Federal, 1600 km. far from Córdoba and 460 km. far from Neuquén.
The tourist zone takes place in the area around the Civic Center. It is the main highway in which the Mitre St., Moreno St. and trade shops converge.
Bariloche is a must in your trip to the Ski Center on the Catedral Mountain.
Things to do in Bariloche are endless. Circuito Chico Tour and Isla Victoria Boat Tour are very popular amongst visitors. You can also book day tours from Bariloche to main surrounding areas such as Villa La Angostura or San Martin de los Andes.

Booked Tangol’s Circuito Chico + Cerro Tronador with transfers and it was unreal. Smooth pick-ups, friendly guide who knew every lake, peak, and mate stop. Circuito Chico gave postcard views of Nahuel Huapi and Llao Llao, then Tronador blew my mind - the Black Glacier and thundering ice were epic.
