About this tour
DAY 1
Our services start in Uyuni, with the transfer from the Airport, the bus station or the hotel, according to your preference.
We will leave at 10:00 am towards the town of Mallku Villamar Cueva, visiting on the way the train cemetery, the church of San Cristóbal and the villages of Culpina K and Alota. We will also pass through the Valley of Las Rocas (famous rock formations due to wind erosion).
We will arrive destination around 05:00 pm, after registering at the hotel, there will be an excursion to discover the famous Rock Paintings and the necropolisfort of Tomás Lakjas
Accommodation: Jardines de Mallku Cuevas Hotel (3 *)

DAY 2
We leave the hotel and go to Laguna Colorada, to make an excursion around the lagoon where you will be able to appreciate the famous "James Flamencos" unique of its kind in the world, as well as perennial ice and the Morning Sun Geysers.
Continue north to visit the Desert of Siloli and the Stone Tree in addition to the system of smaller lagoons: Laguna Hedionda, Cañapa, Ramaditas, Chiarckota and Honda, to arrive again to the town of Uyuni.
Accommodation: Hotel Palacio de Sal (3 *): the first hotel built entirely of salt in the world.

DAY 3
We leave at about 10:00 am for the Great Salar, where we will visit the eyes of water, besides observing both the form of extraction, and the production of the blocks of salt; Then, head to Incahuasi Island (known as Isla Pescado) where you can observe the famous giant Cactus. Then, we travel north, to the skirts of the volcano Thunupa, to visit the Pucara Ayque where you can observe the pre-Columbian fort and the mummies of the place, to later observe the dazzling sunset on the banks of the salt flats. At convenient time transfer to Uyuni (Airport, bus station or hotel)

During the rainy season (From December to March), the salt flats can be inundated. If it’s the case, it won't be possible to reach the Incahuasi Island neither the mummies of Pucara Ayque, limiting the visit at the entrance to apx. 10 km inside the salt flats, to observe a giant mirror reflecting the sky over its superficie.
