The adventure to Vinciguerra Glacier begins early in the morning, when transportation picks up participants from their accommodations in Ushuaia. From there, we head towards the Andorra Valley , the starting point of our trek.
At 9:00 am, we begin the trail that will take us through diverse landscapes. We start by crossing peat bogs and rivers formed by meltwater, as we enter lush subantarctic forests of lenga and ñire trees.
As we continued, the terrain became steeper. Around midday, we reached Laguna de los Témpanos (Iceberg Lagoon ), located at the foot of the Vinciguerra Glacier. The lagoon's crystal-clear waters reflected the ice formations, a truly spectacular sight .
After a break to enjoy lunch and recharge, we prepare for our glacier trekking experience. Equipped with crampons and helmets provided by the guides, we'll walk across the icy surface, exploring sinkholes and ice formations. It's a unique opportunity to witness the dynamics of moving ice up close.
After this unforgettable experience , we began the descent, retracing our steps while enjoying the last panoramic views of the mountain range and surrounding valleys.
Finally, we concluded our expedition, returning to the central hotels of Ushuaia.

Das Eistrekking auf dem Martial-Gletscher war einfach atemberaubend! Die Aussicht war unglaublich und die frische Bergluft tat so gut. Unser Guide war super freundlich und erklärte alles sehr verständlich. Wir hatten genug Zeit, die Landschaft zu genießen und viele tolle Fotos zu machen. Das Abenteuer war anspruchsvoll, aber absolut machbar. Ein absolutes Muss für jeden Abenteurer in Ushuaia. Ich kann Tangol Tours nur wärmstens empfehlen – von der Buchung bis zum Ende war alles perfekt organisiert.
Quelle aventure incroyable sur le glacier Martial ! Le panorama est à couper le souffle et la randonnée sur glace est vraiment unique. Notre guide était sympa et très pro, il nous a raconté plein d'histoires sur la région. Si t'aimes l'aventure et la nature, c'est à faire absolument quand t'es à Ushuaia ! La piste peut être un peu raide, mais ça vaut chaque effort.
