Portillo is the oldest ski resort in South America, with more than 70 years of existence, located in the heart of the Andes at 2,680 meters above sea level and bordering Argentina. During the tour we will be able to appreciate the landscape in full connection with the mountain, as well as appreciate the well-known Laguna del Inca.

You will have time to take photographs and take short walks before returning to Santiago.

We will start leaving Santiago at approximately 5:30 am, taking the famous Los Caracoles road. We will arrive at Portillo and Laguna del Inca, two beautiful places located in the Chilean Andes, known for their stunning natural beauty and outdoor activities.

In Portillo, a famous ski center and mountain resort located in the Valparaíso Region, about 160 kilometers from Santiago, we will stop to visit the ski center and spend some time taking photos. This place is known for being one of the oldest ski centers in South America and has been chosen as the venue for important international ski competitions.

Laguna del Inca is a beautiful lake with crystal-clear waters that is located about 2,800 meters above sea level. Its name comes from an indigenous legend that tells of how Inca Roca, the Inca ruler, mourned the loss of his son on the shores of this lagoon. Surrounded by rugged mountains and snow-capped peaks, the lagoon creates a stunning and photogenic setting.

This is a panoramic tour suitable for the whole family, where we can appreciate the best landscape, take the best photos, and do a mini trek around Laguna del Inca, this small oasis in the middle of the mountain range. This place is popular with both tourists and locals looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy nature in its purest form.
