Day 1 | Arrival in San Martín de los Andes

Upon arrival at the airport or bus terminal in San Martín de los Andes , a vehicle will be waiting to take you to your hotel.

Once settled in, you`ll have the rest of the day free to start discovering this charming Patagonian city, located on the shores of Lake Lácar and surrounded by forests and mountains.

You can use your free time to explore the city center, visit the waterfront, or simply relax and enjoy the scenery.

Day 2 | Seven Lakes Route and Villa La Angostura

After breakfast you will begin one of the most spectacular tours in Patagonia: the Route of the 7 Lakes .

The road crosses the Patagonian Andean forest and connects some of the region`s most emblematic lakes: Machónico, Falkner, Villarino, Escondido, Correntoso, Espejo and Nahuel Huapi .

During the tour you will make different stops at panoramic viewpoints to enjoy the landscapes, take photographs and appreciate the contrasts between lakes, mountains and forests.

The final destination will be Villa La Angostura , one of the most picturesque towns in Patagonia, located on the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi and surrounded by the National Park of the same name.

During the visit, you`ll discover some of its main attractions, such as the port, Quintupuray, Messidor, and the city center. You`ll also have free time to explore the streets and enjoy the surroundings at your own pace.

In the afternoon you will begin your return journey to San Martín de los Andes.

Day 3 | Lanín National Park, Lake Huechulafquen and Lanín Volcano

After breakfast you will depart for Lanín National Park , on a day dedicated to discovering some of the most impressive landscapes in the region.

The tour begins with a visit to Junín de los Andes , where you will take a short city tour and get to know some of its most representative places, also linked to the culture and history of the region.

You will continue towards Lake Huechulafquen , from where you can get your first views of the imposing Lanín Volcano .

You will make a stop by the lake to enjoy its beaches and learn about the source of the Chimehuín River, internationally recognized for trout fishing.

Then you will enter Lanín National Park and travel along the shore of Lake Huechulafquen, surrounded by ancient araucaria forests, one of the most characteristic species of Patagonia.

During the tour, you will have the option to stop for lunch at a barbecue area run by the Mapuche community of Cañicul. Lunch is optional and not included.

The excursion will continue to the southern base of Lanín Volcano , the closest point to the volcano accessible by vehicle. From there, you can admire its glaciers and imposing summit and take photographs of the landscape.

Finally you will arrive at Lake Paimún , where you will visit a unique chapel that combines elements of Christian tradition with symbols and representations linked to the indigenous peoples of the region.

In the afternoon you will begin your return to San Martín de los Andes, arriving at approximately 7:00 pm.

Day 4 | Farewell to San Martín de los Andes

After breakfast you will check out of the hotel.

You will have free time until the scheduled time for your transfer to the airport or bus terminal of San Martín de los Andes.
