About this tour
At the agreed time we will leave our selected hotels to go to the city of La Punta. This city founded in March 2003 is a city where art, modernity, technology, and nature are mixed. Here we can visit the Data Center (which is the most modern in Latin America), the Astronomical Park complex, and a recreation of the Cabildo de Buenos Aires with its original appearance of 1810.We will continue our journey through Suyuque, where the Convent of the Benedictine Sisters of Our Lady of Faithfulness is located. Here we will stop to admire the landscape from its beautiful viewpoint at the top of the mountain range, and we can buy if we want it, artisanal dulce de leche and delicious fruits made by the religious who live here.
We will also go to Villa de La Quebrada, home of the Feast of Christ of La Quebrada that happens on May 3. Bishop Monsignor Di Pasquo had the chapel refurbished and placed a life-size Via Crucis de Marble de Carrara. This impressive work was created by the Italian artist Nicolás Arrighin and was inaugurated on May 3, 1951.
After visiting Villa de La Quebrada, we will be returning to our selected hotels in San Luis.
