About this tour
Option: Trekking to Cerro Champaquí 1 day:
Very early at 05:30 am, we started from the Plaza de San Javier. The professional guide will give us the guidelines for theTrekking tour and all the necessary safety measures.
We begin with the ascent of approximately 7 hours along the Cuesta de las Cabras until reaching the edge of the large mountain ranges.
We will be able to appreciate the distinctive flora such as the Tabaquillo and Maytén tree, native to the great mountain ranges of Córdoba, as well as the streams with their crystalline waters.
Then, we will continue step by step until we reach the top of Cerro Lindero where we can rest for a while to replenish energy and have lunch.
< div style="text-align: justify;">From there, we will go towards the
final stretch of 1 hour of journey to reach the top of the
imposing Cerro Champaquí with a height
2790 meters above sea level.
Once at the summit of Cerro Champaquí and after having witnessed the panoramic views that are formed with the Traslasierras Valley and the Calamuchita Valley at the highest point of the hill, we will proceed to the descent through Estancia la Constancia, culminating with the expedition at approximately 6:00 p.m.
Trekking option to Cerro Champaquí 2 days/1 night:
Departure will be at06:00 am from Plaza San Javier, the same journey mentioned above is made to the Top of Cerro Champaquí for 7 hours with snack.
At night, we will have dinner andsleep at the Don Marcos Dominguez Post, there are shared rooms with bunk beds, bathroom and hot water.
On the second day, we will have breakfast and crown Champaquí Hill and take the relevant photos. And from there, we will return to the town at approximately 5:00 p.m.
