Upon arrival at Salvador airport, you will be met and transferred to your selected hotel, located in the city center. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy as you wish.

Day 2: Historical City Tour
The tour begins with pick-up from the selected hotels to visit some of the most important points where we can verify the history of the city of Salvador, its first streets, squares and churches.

We start with the Barra Lighthouse to reach the Cidade Alta through the Corridor of Victory, Campo Grande and Piedade. It is the modern part of the city, so there are large buildings and shopping centers; the streets and avenues are very busy, and it is considered the economic center of Salvador.

Next we will walk through the Municipal Square, where the Rio Branco Palace and the City Hall are located, in front of the Lacerda elevator, from whose balustrades you can see one of the most beautiful views of the Bay of All Saints.

From the elevator`s viewing point, we will appreciate the Upper City, the Lower City and the diversity of angles offered by the variety of plans offered by the streets and houses of Pelô. We will continue towards the Terreiro de Jesus, where the Basilica Cathedral of the Savior is located, and visit the Church of St. Francis, one of the richest in Brazil and considered the most beautiful example of Portuguese Baroque in the world.

We will end our tour at the Largo do Pelourinho, a place that mixes colors, races, culture and history. Recognized as a world heritage site by UNESCO and immortalized by the illustrious writer Jorge Amado.

At the end, we will return to the passengers` hotels.
