About this tour
We begin our tour to Cachi from Salta in the morning, departing from selected hotels in the city. The journey takes us through the heart of the Lerma Valley, passing through charming Salta towns such as La Merced and El Carril, until we reach the impressive Quebrada de Escoipe, where you will have the opportunity to observe the imposing Cerro Torreón.
From there, we will begin the ascent along the famous Cuesta del Obispo, a route full of curves. scenic views that offer us spectacular views of the Enchanted Valley, with its scattered houses and the corn and fruit crops typical of the area. We will reach the highest point of the route at Piedra del Molino, at 3,457 meters above sea level.
We continue our journey through Los Cardones National Park, traveling along the mythical Tin-Tin Straight, an ancient section that was part of the Inca Trail. Before arriving at our destination, we will be able to contemplate the majestic views of the Nevado de Cachi and the charming town of Payogasta.
Once in Cachi, we will take a tour of its main attractions: we will visit the historic center, see its traditional colonial church and the Archaeology Museum (admission not included). This guided tour will allow us to connect with the history, culture, and beauty of one of Salta's most authentic towns.
After the excursion, we will return to our hotels in Salta, with our hearts full of unforgettable landscapes and new stories to tell.

Cachi ressemble à une petite ville perdue dans les montagnes avec des gens silencieux et souriants. nous avons eu les empanadas les plus délicieux que je me souvienne. Merci pour le voyage effectué à travers un tour super sympa pour aller voir la nature aride. Nous reviendrons au nord-ouest pour visiter tout ce qui nous reste.
