The tour will begin with transfer from your hotel to one of the most representative icons of Riohacha: the Pajarraco sculpture, a symbolic figure that marks the entrance to the New Market and that will be the starting point of this cultural experience. From there, you will walk accompanied by a local guide through the artisan section of the market, where the Wayuu artisan stalls are concentrated, proudly displaying their products.
During the tour, you will be able to learn up close about the weavings, materials, and meanings behind each piece: colorful backpacks, traditional hats, hand-woven hammocks, bracelets, necklaces, and more.
