Tour to Cotopaxi and Quilotoa Volcanoes from Quito, Ecuador - Adventure and Scenic Beauty Await!

Our adventure begins early in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel in Quito (starting at 6:30 am). Leaving the city behind, we'll venture into the famous "Avenue of the Volcanoes," heading south on a scenic drive where verdant valleys, terraced fields, and the majestic silhouettes of the Andes Mountains unfold before your eyes.

Our first major stop will be the imposing Cotopaxi National Park . Upon entering this natural sanctuary, we'll begin a guided tour along its high-altitude trails to discover the endemic flora and search for local wildlife, from waterfowl to herds of llamas. We'll reach the serene Limpiopungo Lagoon , located at the foot of the majestic snow-capped Cotopaxi volcano. The reflection of the mountain on the lagoon's crystal-clear waters offers one of the most breathtaking and photographed sights in the entire country.

Afterward, we'll continue our journey, ascending toward the mystical Quilotoa Lagoon . Along the way, you'll witness firsthand the rural life of the Sierra and encounter the area's traditional communities . Upon arriving at the village of Quilotoa, we'll walk to its main viewpoint: the view will take your breath away as you contemplate the gigantic extinct volcanic caldera that cradles a dazzling lagoon of emerald and turquoise hues.

You'll have free time to explore the area around the viewpoint, capture spectacular photographs, and enjoy a delicious lunch en route (not included) to savor local flavors. After a day filled with Andean magic, biodiversity, and ancestral culture, we'll begin our return trip to Quito in the afternoon, dropping you off comfortably at your hotel.
