We offer you the option of combining the nature of Ecuador with the adrenaline of the white waters of the Quijos River. 

Rafting down the Quijos River is a very pleasant activity that allows us to enjoy the spectacular jungle scenery as well as paddling down the class IV rapids. 

It should be noted that you will always be accompanied by a professional guide, who will tell you how to do the activity and the precautions you should take. In addition, a picnic lunch on the river banks is included in this experience.

About this tour

Rafting on the Quijos River starts at 6:30 am in Magic Bean (corner of Foch and Juan León Mera), we leave Quito and head about 130 km east to Baeza. 

Once we arrive at our destination, we will receive a safety talk, basic movements, swimming test and team work. We will also be given life jackets, helmets and if necessary, wetsuits. 

Once we get out, we'll go straight into action, it will be an incredible activity, going through some easier rapids to warm up first. Along the way we will be able to appreciate the incredible jungle scenery and have the opportunity to enjoy a picnic on the riverbanks. 

In the afternoon, we will go rafting in the first canyons of the Quijos, running big and technical rapids that are more demanding and exciting and will leave us breathless. 

To end the day, we celebrate this adventure with a few ice-cold beers by the river and return to Quito arriving at approximately 7:30 pm.
