Day 1: Arrival in Purmamarca – Free Afternoon
Upon arrival in Purmamarca, guests will make their own way to their accommodations. After checking in at El Refugio de Coquena, they will have the afternoon free to begin exploring this small Andean town at their own pace. We recommend visiting the crafts fair located in the main square, ideal for viewing and purchasing textiles, ceramics, and local products made by regional artisans. Another must-do option is the famous Paseo de los Colorados, a circuit of approximately three kilometers that borders the Cerro de los Siete Colores (Cerro de los Siete Colores) and offers unforgettable views of the natural surroundings. At sunset, the sunlight tinges the mountains with warm hues, creating a visual spectacle that marks the perfect beginning to this experience.

Day 2: Excursion to Mirador El Hornocal (Cerro de los 14 Colores)
After breakfast, begin a day of in-depth exploration of the Humahuaca Gorge, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The tour passes through some of the region's most traditional villages, with strategic stops to enjoy the scenery and history.
The first stop will be Uquía, a small town known for its 17th-century church, which houses a valuable collection of paintings of arquebusier angels belonging to the Cuzco School. Then, continue to Humahuaca, where you will have free time for lunch (not included) and to walk through its cobblestone streets, visit the main church, and see the imposing monument to the Heroes of Independence. The day's highlight is a visit to the El Hornocal Lookout, located more than 4,300 meters above sea level. The route there runs along a scenic ledge route that crosses high-altitude landscapes. From the viewpoint you can see the majestic Cerro de los 14 Colores, a mountain formation that displays a unique color palette in the world. It is, without a doubt, one of the most impressive landscapes in northern Argentina.

Day 3: Full-Day Excursion to the Iruya Valley
After breakfast, we head north on a scenic journey to one of the most charming and isolated areas of the region: Iruya. The full-day trip crosses mountains and valleys that seem suspended in time, reaching heights of over 4,000 meters before descending along ledge paths to reach the town.
Iruya is literally nestled in the mountains, with its adobe houses hanging on steep slopes and its cobblestone alleys that invite you to get lost and discover. During the visit, you will visit its small colonial church, visit the local market and enjoy a serene, almost magical atmosphere. On the way there or back, you can also visit the hamlets of Iturbe and the Abra del Cóndor viewpoint, from where you can get unparalleled panoramic views of the valley.
This excursion not only offers stunning landscapes, but also the opportunity to connect with the living culture of the indigenous peoples and understand their way of life in one of the most remote places in Jujuy.

Day 4: Salinas Grandes – End of the Tour
After checking out, the last excursion of the trip begins, but no less impressive. On this occasion we head to the impressive Salinas Grandes, one of the most photographed and admired landscapes of the Argentine Altiplano.
The route includes the ascent of the spectacular Cuesta de Lipán, a winding route that climbs to 4,170 meters above sea level, offering unforgettable postcards at every turn. Upon arriving at the salt flats, the traveler finds an immense white sea that seems to have no end. Here you will have free time to walk on the salt flat, take photographs and learn about the traditional salt extraction process that is still active.
Before returning to Purmamarca, we will make a stop at Puesto Sey, a small rural community where you can learn more about life in the Puna of Jujuy and taste regional products such as goat cheese or artisanal sweets (optional).
