We will leave the hotel in Pucón early in the morning at the agreed time to enjoy a day of adventure, which will immerse us in the natural wonder of one of the Most Active Volcanoes of the world, right in the heart of Araucanía.
We'll start early at the base of this impressive Rukapillán Volcano , also known as Villarrica Volcano , the most active volcano in Chile and South America. Its altitude reaches 2,847 meters.
We will begin the ascent to the volcano at a gentle and safe pace; it is a 5-hour climb in total and a 2.30-hour descent… This outing can be for the whole family; the only requirement is being over 12 years old and in good physical condition.
As we make our way along the volcano's trails, we will immerse ourselves in a world of volcanic rocks, snow, and ice.
As we approach the summit, the view becomes increasingly impressive; we will begin to see different lakes such as Villarrica, Calafquén, Huelipilum, Pellaifa, and Caburgua.
Upon reaching the summit, we will be rewarded with a 360-degree panoramic view encompassing mountains, lakes, and forests. We will also be able to see the volcanoes around us, such as the Lanín, Lonquimay, Quetrupillán, Choshuenco, and Llaima volcanoes.
