The town preserves a strong quilombola heritage and a rich Afro-Brazilian culture, founded by shipwreck survivors who achieved their freedom.

Barra do Cunhaú and Natural Pools

We continue along roads between sugarcane plantations and shrimp farms until we reach Barra do Cunhaú. There you'll have time to enjoy the beach and, at low tide, the beautiful natural pools with crystal-clear water.

Chapadão and Praia do Amor
