Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge is located 180 km northwest of Manaus, on the right bank of the Rio Negro. Situated opposite the world's largest river archipelago, the lodge is the perfect base for exploring the wonders of the Amazon basin. The transfer from Manaus to the lodge takes approximately 3 hours.
The package includes meals at the hotel restaurant, as well as two or three daily excursion options. Some of the activities include jungle hikes, piranha fishing, dolphin and caiman watching, canoe trips, and visits to local indigenous communities.
The Lodge also offers experienced guides who speak fluent English, Portuguese and Spanish, as well as transportation to and from Manaus International Airport.
Day 1: Transfer to Anavilhanas Lodge. This package includes some of the following excursions. The order of the excursions will be determined by the lodge, which will provide the activity program upon arrival.
CANOE THROUGH THE IGAPOS AND IGARAPES:
Listen to the sounds of the forest and explore the rivers. In canoes for up to two people, watch the landscape change as you paddle through the water and among the trees.
HIKING IN DRY FORESTS:
With experienced local guides, explore areas protected from flooding: either dry forests or drier forests. During the tour, learn about trees, fruits and wild berries, survival strategies, and medicinal herbs.
NIGHT TOUR IN THE ANAVILHANAS ARCHIPELAGO:
Enjoy the unique atmosphere of nightlife in the forest, illuminated by the stars, exploring the igapós to spot birds, sloths, snakes and caimans hidden in the darkness.
TOUR IN THE ANAVILHANAS ARCHIPELAGO IN SEARCH OF PINK DOLPHINS:
Explore the countless canals, lakes and islands of one of the world's largest river archipelagos in search of pink and grey dolphins.
RECREATIONAL PIRANHA FISHING OR FLOODED JUNGLE EXCURSION:
Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and try your hand at fishing during this fun canoe trip along the igarapés (riverbanks). During the dry season, from September to December, the water warms up and the fish congregate more in the National Park, where fishing is prohibited. However, during this same period, we offer the opportunity to hike through the islands of the Anavilhanas Archipelago to experience firsthand the differences in flora and fauna between the upland forest and the igapó forest, characteristic of the Amazon rainforest.
CONTEMPLATION OF THE DAWN:
Departing at dawn, guests will be taken to the islands to observe the flight of birds and the beauty of all colors when the sun rises in the Amazonian sky.

What an unforgettable adventure at Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge! Three days of pure magic in the Amazon. The lodge was super comfy and the staff were like friends from the start. Every day was packed with excitement—from canoeing under the moonlight to seeing pink river dolphins up close. The guided walks were eye-openers, with our guide sharing so much about the local wildlife and plants. It’s a wildlife wonderland. Food was delish and very local too! Definitely a must-do for anyone wanting an authentic jungle experience.

Ich war in der Anavilhanas Dschungellodge und es war einfach unglaublich! Die Natur, die Geräusche des Dschungels und die Tierbeobachtungen – unvergesslich! Das Personal war super freundlich und alle Aktivitäten waren spannend und gut organisiert. Vom Kanu fahren bis zum Nachtausflug, alles war ein Abenteuer. Der Komfort der Lodge hat das Gesamterlebnis perfekt abgerundet. Wenn du die Natur liebst und ein bisschen Abenteuer möchtest, solltest du das nicht verpassen!
C'était magique ! Le lodge Anavilhanas est un paradis en pleine jungle. Chaque moment était une aventure, entouré par la nature époustouflante. Les guides étaient vraiment sympas et très bien informés, et la faune qu'on a pu voir, juste incroyable ! Les repas étaient délicieux avec une touche locale. C'est l'endroit parfait pour se déconnecter et se retrouver en harmonie avec la nature. Bref, je recommande vivement ce séjour pour tous les amoureux de la nature !
