After visiting the Uros Islands and a 1.5-hour boat ride, you will continue your journey to Taquile Island. Unlike the other Aymara-speaking islands in the lake, Taquile is inhabited by Quechua speakers. It was once part of the Inca Empire, and remnants of this culture can still be seen in its architecture.
