About this tour

At the agreed time we will leave from our selected hotels to head west, visiting the residential area, the Padercitas, the Quebrada, the Tunnel and the Los Sauces Dam.

From here we will ascend in 4x4 to the Sierra de Velasco through an intricate and stony cornice road, reaching the edge of the mountain. Here we will stop to enjoy the best panoramic views of the city, the dike, the town of Sanagasta, and the Riojan plains.

We will take our time to enjoy this impressive place and we will delight in observing the paragliding and ala delta track that is located in this area. We will be able to see how the intrepid athletes throw themselves into the void in their flight practices.

After this incredible moment, we will have the option to go up to the observatory and take a visit (optional not included) or return to our selected hotels in the city of La Rioja.
