From La Paz, you will be driven to Tiwanaku. Throughout the drive you will observe countless highlands and pass through Aymara communities getting the chance to observe their way of life.
Arriving at Tiwanaku you are given some historical facts and it is explained show Tiwanaku was one of the most important pre-Inca civilisations considered to have been the most developed at the time.
The main constructions you will then visit are: Kalasasaya temple, the Gate of the Sun; constructed out of stone, Ponce and Fraile monoliths, Akapana pyramid and semi-underground temple.
