In addition, we can explore the charming Fazenda Vila Rosa, a colonial property on the banks of the Contas River. The majestic historic mansion houses a collection of antiques and fascinating stories that will captivate all who visit it.
The day begins with the pick-up of passengers in Itacaré and their transfer to the Fazenda Vila Rosa, located on the Itacaré - Taboquinhas highway, about 30 minutes from the city of Itacaré.
Once at Fazenda Vila Rosa, the local guide will welcome you and show you the farm in its entirety, starting with the harvest of cacao After observing how the harvest is carried out, the cocoa is taken to the fermentation and drying process.
Once the cocoa is dry, it will be taken to the chocolate factory, where it will be ground and the chocolate-making process will begin. At the chocolate factory, visitors will not only understand how the process is carried out, but they will also be able to taste some of its delicious products, such as natural cocoa, cocoa honey, homemade chocolate and brownie.
After the visit to the cocoa process, it is time for visitors to get to know the beautiful hamlet of Vila Rosa, its history and its Charming garden with stone pool and reservoir. Take advantage of the opportunity to take a kayak ride available on site.

Wow, was für ein Erlebnis auf der Kakaofarm Vila Rosa! Die Tour war super informativ und die Führer waren top. Man lernt so viel über den Kakaoanbau und die Schokoladenproduktion. Besonders toll fand ich die Verkostung der frischen Schokolade. Absolut empfehlenswert für alle Schokoladenliebhaber!
