I spent a full day immersed in nature in Iguazu National Park, combining a visit to the Iguazu Falls – the Argentine side – with the Iguazu Crossing , a scenic boat trip that will allow you to return along the river to Puerto Iguazu.
The experience begins with the transfer from your hotel to Iguazu National Park , where you can walk along the walkways of the Upper and Lower circuits and enjoy different perspectives of the waterfalls.
After visiting the Falls, we'll continue with the Iguazu Crossing , which combines an interpretive hike along the Yacaratiá Trail with a boat trip on the Iguazu River. The tour ends in Puerto Iguazu , near the Three Borders Landmark , where the Iguazu and Paraná Rivers meet, marking the border between Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay.

About this tour
The day begins with a transfer from your hotel to Iguazu National Park. Once inside the park, you'll have time to explore its main network of walkways and admire the numerous waterfalls that make up the Iguazu Falls.
The Upper Circuit allows you to walk along elevated walkways over the river and observe the waterfalls from above, while the Lower Circuit offers a closer perspective of the falls and the jungle environment.
You can also access the Devil's Throat sector, according to the operating conditions and the availability of the circuit at the time of the visit.
🌿 A different way to return from the Falls
After enjoying the park, the second part of the experience begins: the Iguazu Crossing .
The Iguazu Crossing is a unique excursion where the Iguazu River takes center stage. Ideal for those seeking a deeper connection with nature, this tour combines hiking and boating, uniting the richness of the Parana Rainforest with the excitement of a sunset river cruise.
🚶 Yacaratiá Trail: Gateway to the jungle
The adventure begins with a guided hike along the Yacaratiá Trail , an interpretive route that allows you to discover the flora, fauna, and unique characteristics of the rainforest ecosystem. Along this trail, you'll experience an authentic glimpse into one of the most biodiverse environments on the continent.
🚤 Navigating the Iguazu River: Nature and Border
After the trek, you'll board modern boats with bilingual guides to begin navigating the lower Iguazu River . The journey takes you past rocky shores, lush vegetation, and calm waters, framing a landscape of pure, unspoiled beauty.
During the journey, you will experience the transition between Iguazu National Park and the urban area, until you reach an emblematic point: the Three Borders Landmark , where Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay meet.
🌅 Sunset on the river: perfect ending
The highlight of the tour comes with the sunset reflecting on the water, right where the Iguazu River merges with the majestic Paraná River . A magical setting that invites contemplation and enjoyment with family, a partner, or friends.
