Nach unseren Tagen voller Eindrücke war das Upper Hotel eine herrlich ruhige Basis. Unser Zimmer zum Innenhof blieb selbst morgens erstaunlich still – nur einmal hörten wir leise Vögel. Von der Rua Rio Grande 103 waren wir schnell an den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten; zur Metro liefen wir etwa sechs Minuten. Perfekt zum Abschalten zwischen den Ausflügen!
Après une année de travail intense, nous avons choisi l’Upper Hotel pour souffler, et le calme nous a vraiment fait du bien. Notre chambre donnant sur la cour était étonnamment silencieuse, même le matin ; on entendait seulement quelques oiseaux. Le lit confortable et les rideaux occultants nous ont permis de dormir tard sans problème. L’emplacement, rue Rio Grande, est super pratique : en dix minutes à pied, nous rejoignions cafés, petites boutiques et le métro. Nous avons même trouvé une boulangerie de quartier au coin, parfaite pour nos petits-déjeuners. Pour visiter à pied et se reposer, c’était exactement ce qu’il nous fallait.
