Unsere Sommerwoche in Rio begann hier ziemlich perfekt. Vom Zimmer im achten Stock sahen wir direkt auf die Wellen zwischen Arpoador und Ipanema – meine Tochter hat jeden Morgen erst fotografiert, dann gefrühstückt. Der Check-in dauerte kaum fünf Minuten; beim Check-out lagen die Rechnungen schon bereit, bevor wir unsere Koffer geschlossen hatten. Kleiner Bonus: Die Rezeption gab uns gratis Wasser für den Strand.
Pour notre anniversaire, nous avons adoré le calme de l’Hôtel Arpoador. Malgré l’emplacement, on n’entendait presque rien dans la chambre, même le matin. La piscine sur le toit, avec ses transats moelleux et son coin ombragé, était parfaite après la plage. On a aussi beaucoup aimé les fauteuils du salon commun, près de la fenêtre, pour lire en silence.
