Quinta San Felipe offers a refined alternative to large urban properties. Its value lies in the combination of heritage, attentive hospitality and a memorable sense of place, making it a suitable choice for leisure travelers, couples and visitors seeking an elegant stay in central Quito.

Quinta San Felipe occupies a historic property in Quito’s Centro Histórico, one of the city’s most atmospheric areas. The neighborhood is known for its preserved colonial architecture, cobbled streets, churches, museums and traditional plazas. From this central setting, guests can explore Quito’s cultural heritage on foot and reach important landmarks such as Plaza de San Francisco, La Compañía de Jesús, Plaza Grande and the Metropolitan Cathedral. The area also offers access to local restaurants, cafés, artisan shops and galleries, allowing the hotel to function as a convenient base for discovering the capital.

Traditional elements create a warm sense of place, while the interiors provide a comfortable and polished environment for modern travelers. Courtyards, high ceilings, textured walls and carefully selected decorative details contribute to an intimate atmosphere. Rather than presenting a standardized lodging experience, the property emphasizes character, calm and the architectural heritage associated with Quito’s old town.

Accommodation is arranged in private rooms and suites designed for different types of stays. Categories may vary in layout and size, with options intended for individual travelers, couples and longer visits. Selected units provide additional living space and residential touches, supporting a more flexible experience than a conventional city hotel. Guests seeking a distinctive hotel in Quito can expect an atmosphere that prioritizes comfort, privacy and historic character.

Gastronomy is presented as part of the stay through breakfast service and welcoming areas where guests can begin the day or pause between excursions. The property’s intimate scale complements a relaxed dining experience, while the surrounding historic center provides additional opportunities to sample Ecuadorian cuisine and international options.

Leisure at Quinta San Felipe centers on the property’s peaceful ambience and the cultural attractions beyond its doors. Interior patios and shared areas offer places to rest after sightseeing, while Quito’s museums, viewpoints and historic landmarks provide a broad range of activities.

Fast check-in, memorable breakfasts, and a peaceful Quito base for our easy family adventure

Quinta San Felipe made our low-season family trip to Quito wonderfully easy. We were checked in within minutes, and checkout was just as quick—no waiting or surprise paperwork. Breakfast became a highlight: warm pan de yuca, fresh fruit, eggs cooked to order, and excellent coffee. We also enjoyed a cozy dinner there; the locro de papa was rich and comforting. The 24 de Septiembre location felt convenient and peaceful.
