Unsere erste internationale Reise als Ehepaar hätte kaum entspannter beginnen können: Der Check-in dauerte an der Rezeption vielleicht drei Minuten, beim Check-out waren die Zimmerkarten in weniger als zwei Minuten abgegeben. Die Lage an der Avenida Orellana war ideal. Zu Fuß erreichten wir den Parque El Ejido und mehrere Cafés, zur Altstadt nahmen wir unkompliziert ein Taxi. Unseren Aufenthalt haben wir sehr genossen.
On a passé une super semaine d’été entre amis au Holiday Inn Express Quito. Depuis notre chambre au 10e étage, la vue sur Quito était dingue : au réveil, on voyait la Virgen del Panecillo et les montagnes baignées de lumière. Le petit-déjeuner nous a surpris : œufs brouillés, fruits frais, yaourt, pain chaud et excellent café équatorien. Un matin, le chef a préparé des arepas au fromage, délicieuses. Le soir, on a goûté le ceviche de l’hôtel, très frais et bien relevé. Équipe adorable, emplacement parfait pour sortir à pied.
